Are you struggling to set up a sales funnel? You’re not alone. One of the biggest obstacles for small business owners is not knowing what to include in their sales funnels. Luckily, there are three essential pages that every sales funnel should have.
This page is your gateway into the funnel, where you can encourage your reader to take action. Whether you’re selling a product or offering a free gift in exchange for their email address, you want to make sure your call to action is clear and prominently displayed. Avoid any distractions such as links to other websites or a navigation bar. Instead, focus on addressing your reader’s pain points and highlighting how your offer can provide a solution.

This page is where you ask your reader to confirm their intent. If you’re selling a product, this could be your checkout page where they enter their payment details. For a free offer, this page is simply where your email management system directs them next. You can take advantage of this page by offering an upsell or reminding them to follow you on social media. However, don’t put anything on this page that they will need to refer back to. That’s what the Thank You Page is for.
This page is where your reader can collect their downloadable item or get information about how your product will be delivered. It’s also where you can showcase your other offers, especially those at a slightly higher price point. The person looking at this page is a hot prospect and in a buying mood, so take advantage of this by including a limited time offer, a “no-brainer” coupon offer, or extra bonuses.
Setting up a sales funnel doesn’t have to be complicated. As your business grows, you can expand your funnel to include more upsells and downsells. But for now, this simple setup is all you need to get started. Just remember to include these three essential pages: the Sales Page, the Confirmation Page, and the Thank You Page.
